Four Tunkhannock Youth Wrestling Club grapplers
got some additional workouts over the holidays, participating in two open tournaments. On December 27,
Tommy Traver and Brian Rosiak traveled to Pittstown, NJ for some mat-time. Traver collected three pins
on his way to the gold medal and Rosiak picked up three of his own en route to a silver medal finish.
On
Sunday, January 2nd, Rosiak and Dalton Ray participated in the Pottsgrove Round Robin Tournament. To
gain more experience, both wrestlers participated in two separate divisions. Rosiak took
the gold medal in both divisions, while Ray took home a first place and a fourth place finish.
The entire
TYWC takes to action as a team again in a Penn League quad-meet at Wyoming Valley West next Sunday.
